Frequently asked questions
What is a typical member to hot desk ratio for a coworking space?
There is no single right ratio, because it depends entirely on how often your members visit. This calculator derives the ratio from your own visit data instead of applying a rule of thumb, so check your check-in logs for a real visits per week figure.
How do I find my peak day share?
Look at check-ins over the last four to eight weeks and divide the busiest weekday's visits by the weekly total. Many spaces see midweek peaks; if your days are evenly spread, use 100 divided by your open days.
What should I do if the verdict says over capacity?
Either add desks, pause new flex sign-ups, or use booking rules such as a daily booking cap or advance booking limits to spread visits away from the peak day. Rerun the calculator with the new numbers to see the effect.
